Some word from the press:
There are several remarkable things
about this release. The recording quality is astounding.
The 4 concertos themselves are very rewarding in their
wide range and musical content and the superb playing
which is beyond criticism. (SA-CD.net)
There is much enjoyable music
in all four works, splendidly performed in first-rate
sound. (Nordic Sounds)
There´s a likeness to Edward
Gregson´s wind concerti at times: and that,
meaning tunefullness, idiomatic writing and lively
ideas, is a compliment indeed. (Robert Beale, Manchester
Evening News)
Virile recording quality,
wonderfully provocative writing deeply harnessed to
romantic models but breathing a wholly comtemperary
ozone. (Musicweb International)
