nabshow-1-e1459651061320Industry-leading brands, NTP Technology and Digital Audio Denmark (DAD), exhibit at the NAB 2017 tradeshow for broadcasters in Las Vegas, Nevada, next week. NTP and DAD will share a booth with their US distributor, Plus24, at the show and can be found at booth C3851 in Central Hall.

DAD will show the latest version of its AD/DA and digital format converters that also provide comprehensive audio-routing capabilities, as well as optional microphone preamps and Audinate Dante IP Audio support.

NTP Technology sets out to exhibit the latest version of its Visual Matrix Control (VMC) routing software. VMC is a Windows-based user interface for configuring and managing the routing of audio signals in a wide variety of formats. All of the signal levels can be viewed as peak program meters and monitored individually. Further, flexible scheduled routing automation can be managed as well as signal-dependent routing. VMC will be demonstrated in a system based on an NTP Penta 720 MADI router with a Blue | NET enabled 635 controller interconnecting an AX32 Eucon-enabled post-production system as well as Dante compliant audio-over-IP devices in a common router structure. The Penta 720 is a compact broadcast audio router, which can be configured with a wide range of interface cards such as MADI, AES, analogue, SDI embedder/de-embedder and Dante AoIP.

Mikael-Vest-Sales-Director-Digital-Audio-Denmark-medium“Throughout the production chain in professional audio, which obviously includes several parts of the broadcast workflow, a transformation towards networked audio is happening as we speak,” says Mikael Vest, NTP Technology Sales Director. “Both our NTP and DAD products support Audio over IP via Dante connections and AES67 compatibility.

Further, since a core asset of our products is managing and distributing huge amount of audio streams, they are ideal as centerpieces in various workflows within post production as well as broadcast transmission. Needless to say, we are excited to be present at one of the most important industry events in the broadcast sector, and we look forward to showing and demonstrating our audio-routing and conversion solutions at the show.”

The educational program of the annual NAB show in Las Vegas begins April 22nd, and the exhibition part of the event runs from April 24th to 27th.
